1. Who we are

JC Websites ("we", "us", "our"), ABN 21 260 921 164, is a Perth-based web design studio operating in Western Australia. By engaging us to design or build a website, you ("the client") agree to these terms.

2. The Care Plan & payment

Our website Care Plan is $800 AUD to build your site (one-off) plus $250 AUD per month, per site, for hosting, maintenance and support, unless we agree a different scope in writing. A deposit is required before the build begins, with the balance of the build fee due before the site goes live. The $250 monthly fee is billed in advance and begins when your site goes live.

There is no lock-in contract. The care plan runs month to month. Give us 30 days' notice at any time, we'll see out the current month, and that's the end of it — no exit fee and no questions.

Payments are made via bank transfer or invoice. All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST — $250 per month is what lands on your invoice, with nothing added on top.

If an invoice goes unpaid we'll chase it up with you first. If it is more than 14 days overdue the site is paused rather than deleted, and goes straight back up once it's settled.

3. 7-day delivery

We commit to delivering a live, functional website within 7 business days of receiving your deposit, your content, and any access we need (domain, hosting, branding assets). If we miss this window through fault of our own, you're covered by our 7-Day Guarantee.

Delays caused by the client (late content, slow feedback, missing assets) pause the 7-day clock.

4. Scope of work

The one-off build fee covers everything up to launch: a site designed and built from scratch rather than from a template, all the copywriting, your real photos edited and optimised, mobile, tablet and desktop layouts, search setup (titles, descriptions, structured data and a sitemap), a Google Business Profile tie-in, contact and quote forms, and getting it live on your domain.

The monthly care plan covers hosting and domain renewal, ongoing SEO, unlimited changes, security, off-site backups and platform updates, a monthly health check of every page and form, and keeping the site readable for AI assistants.

Anything outside this — a full redesign, a second website, an online store or booking system, or logo and branding work — is quoted separately and only started once you approve the price.

Some costs are passed on at cost and are not part of the monthly fee: advertising budgets, premium stock photography, paid third-party services and premium domain purchases. We will always check with you before spending anything.

5. Changes & support

While your plan is active you can request unlimited changes to your existing site — text, prices, photos, services and new pages. There are no change-request forms, no hourly billing and no monthly allowance; just message us. Most changes are live within one to two business days, and for anything larger we'll give you a timeframe up front.

6. Content & assets

Copywriting is included in the build. You're responsible for supplying your logo and your own photographs, or for commissioning them through us as a separate engagement. Any content you provide is warranted to be yours to use, or properly licensed.

7. Ownership

Your content is yours — your domain, logo, photos and copy remain your property at all times, and if you leave you take them with you. The completed website design and code are yours to keep. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.

8. Hosting & domains

Hosting, the SSL certificate and domain renewal are included in your monthly plan — we host, secure and maintain the site for you, so you never deal with a hosting company or registrar. Your domain is registered in your name. If your plan ends you keep the domain, and we hand over your site files so you can move it elsewhere.

9. Liability

We do our best work on every project. That said, our maximum liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or business interruption.

10. Cancellation

You can cancel a project at any time before launch. The deposit is non-refundable once design work has commenced. After launch, our 7-Day Guarantee applies.

The care plan itself has no lock-in. Give us 30 days' notice at any time and we'll see out the current month — no exit fee.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes will be heard in the courts of Western Australia.
